José Fragoso
José Fragoso (Madrid, 1975) is a children’s books author and illustrator. He studied Classical Cartoon Animation and Graphic Design in Madrid, and Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He has published several illustrated albums, such as Olivia Diluvio (Fun Readers), which received acclaim from the press. His illustrations have also appeared in picture books written by other authors, such as Mi pegatina by Pilar Redondo Benítez (“My sticker”, Abresueños) or Macaco se hace caca by Laura Vila (“Macaque Wants To Poop”, Lata de Sal), as well as in magazines and comics in Spain and the United States, with clients such as Sony Music and the Cervantes Institute. He currently combines illustration and the publication of his new book saga Olivia Wolf (Nubeocho) with his work as a teacher at the Escuela Superior de Dibujo Profesional in Madrid.
