Chiki Fabregat
Chiki Fabregat (Madrid, 1969) is a writer and a creative writing teacher. Her father wrote tales for children, so she grew up among stories. She studied Spanish Language and Literature, and nowadays she is head of the Children’s and Young Adult department in Escuela de Escritores (School of Writers). She has published several books for children and young readers of all ages, including the Soy un superhéroe first-readers series (“I’m a Superhero”, Edebé), the middle grade Trece días para arreglar a papá (“Thirteen Days to Fix Daddy”, Diquesí) and, in young adult, the Zoila trilogy (Edebé) or Recuérdame por qué he muerto (“Remind Me Why I Died”, DNX). Some of her works have received great recognition, such as Cuando la Luna llora (“When the Moon cries”, Edebé), finalist for the 27th Edebé award, or  El cofre de nadie (“Nobody’s chest”, SM), which won the prestigious Gran Angular young adult award.
