Laura Vila
Laura Vila (Madrid, 1982) is a bookseller, storyteller and children's writer. She studied Art History at the Complutense University of Madrid and has been working as a bookseller for more than ten years. She is currently in charge of the children's section at the Rafael Alberti bookstore in Madrid, and has recently taken the leap to writing, with works such as Honorato (Lata de Sal) and Macaco se hace caca (“Macaque Wants To Poo”, Lata de Sal). Her new collections: Las Fantasticotas ("Fantastipets", Destino) for young children to learn to read, and Piececitos ("Little Feet", Pijama Books) are having great success.
