María Rubio
María Rubio (Zaragoza, 1987) is a scriptwriter and writer. She studied Advertising and Public Relations, and her work in the advertising sector has earned her several awards. But, undoubtedly, what she likes most is writing humor. Perhaps that's why she has worked at Cartoon Network for years, adapting series like Adventure Time, Steven Universe and Ordinary Stories to Spanish; she is also the pen behind Toony, a felt youtuber who talks about cartoons and has more than 160,000 subscribers. All this has led her to discover another of her great passions: writing for children. Currently, the third title of Valle Kazaam (Planeta, 2023) has been published and she is working on various projects.
